About the Author: Teresa D'Amario lives in NC with her husband and 2 dogs who think they're kids. But since they cost as much to feed and keep healthy as a child, that's a pretty good description.

Hello readers, and welcome to Lovin' Me Some Romance! Because of course we all love romance books or we wouldn't be here, right? I tend to like my romance with a hint of edge. Okay, I actually like a lot of edge to my romance. I need danger. I need to know what I'm about to read (or write) is going to make me want to sit on the edge of my seat. I love to feel my heart race at some point in the book. Or to feel the tender emotions drawn to the surface when I read about true love.
So how do I chose the books I read? Like many of you, I chat with my friends and we have the word of mouth recommendation. But sometimes that doesn't "hit the spot", so I'll preview the books using their book trailers.
I adore book trailers, but they have to be "just right". No, I don't mean the graphics have to be perfect. An author doesn't have to spend a fortune and hire actors to film their story. And I don't even like the voice over very much.
But the music, now that makes a huge difference. Sounds odd, doesn't it? While the visual imagery may be or may not be memorable, the music sets the stage. If the book is what I want, one that makes the heart beat faster, then so does the trailer - and what makes that happen is the tone of the music.
For Blood Moon Betrayed, I chose a very dark rendition of "Pop Goes the Weasel." I don't spend a ton on my videos, though I do have fun creating the morph of my paranormal shifters, but mostly, the music tells you about my book.
