The Watchers Book One
Genre: Urban Fantasy

Seven thousand years ago, angels descended from heaven to guide a fledgling human race. Known as the Watchers, they were forbidden to partake in carnal pleasures. But they could not resist the temptation, and as a result their descendants have been cursed—unnatural magical beings that belong neither to heaven nor fully to earth.
Cade was ordered to claim her for his clan. She was becoming one of them-- a Watcher, so to reach her full power--and she didn't even realize it. Yet the moment he saw her, he knew he could never share her. No matter what demons lurk in her past, no matter howw much she tries to deny her body's burning need for his, he will claim her for himself. And together they will face the battle that is brewing...

Is this a gauranteed Dorchester release??
Anyhoo...I'm LOVING this cover, this one is actually in proportion...it's such a cover pet peeve of mine when a hunk is on the cover and he has small wings...it doesn't make sense.
I have read Joy Nash's historical novels and really liked them so I'm curious what this genre change will bring :)) The blurb sounds good!
Hmmmmm good question Leontine....I checked on Amazon again and the page says that the publisher is DP which is suspiciously short for Dorchester publishing? Maybe.
LOL! Yes! The wings must be in proportion. Gawd, and don't you just love the tatts on the arm?
I'm not all that worried about the genre change for Nash since she's written paranormals before. This is catagorized as urban fantasy however so...we'll see.
I'll keep my eye out on the Dorchester issue.
Hugs, VFG
Oh yes, my heart beats faster when I see ink on a guy and this one is *rowr* I forgot that Joy Nash also written some Immortal books *headdesk* and thanks for keeping an eye out for Dorchester issue, since that fiasco with Anne Marsh's novel I'm not really a fan of them ATM :(
PS gauranteed = guaranteed
Woo...very nice find. I'm adding this one to my wishlist. Love stories based on fallen angels. :)
I agree with you on his arm sleeve.
Oh, I went to Amazon and it looks like they are releasing this one in Trade Paperback...not MMPB like the previous "Guaranteed Read" books were.
Poor Anne Marsh. I feel so bad for what she had to go through and I imagine it's much the same for other authors. I read on KB's blog that they're doing some more shady stuff over at Dorchester too like giving back the book rights to authors but continueing to sell the book and reaping the profits without giving royalties. It's one big cluster fuck over there.
