And while my first glimpse of VAMPIRE INSTINCT was met with disappointment, I'm now finding that the more I look at the cover the more it grows on me.

I'm actually pondering what kind of position the couple is in on the cover of AFTERLIFE. I like VAMPIRE INSTINCT cover but it is a bit tamer than the previous covers in series. I still like the colors and vibe though...
LOL!! Me too Leontine! All I can think of is "Damn! That woman is flexible!!". :)
And I agree, the cover for VAMPIRE INSTINCT is much tamer than the others. It kind of has a more ethereal or mystic feeling to it.... and Hill says that it matches perfectly with the tone of the novel...we shall see.

I haven't read the Vampire Queen series yet, but Leontine's reviews on the series have convinced me that the books need to be moved higher up on my TBR pile.
ooooh..Vampire Instinct cover is intriguing..you are right..the longer I look at it, the more I like it. I can't wait for that book!!!
That cover is a bit risque if you ask me, lol. Pretty, but I think I may see a bit of nip action going on. Just sayin'....
I'm so looking forward to Vampire Instinct, though Afterlife has an intriguing cover. :D

I myself have only read the first book in the vampire series but I think you can read them out of order fairly well. I love Joey W. Hill and I need to make more time for her novels.
