That's right! This reading hussy is making her way to the Big Apple tomorrow for a four day mini-break. And guess who's going to be spending an afternoon with me at the American Museum of Natural History??? Just guess. Come on, it's oh so obvious!

I did warn her that I'd fight for Rehv so watch out girl, here I come!!! lol!
The whole thing started when my mom stopped by my office door (I work with my family) and asked nonchalantly "Do you want to go to New York for your birthday?" Like it was no big deal or just any other day!
Of course it took me a second to respond with all the hysterical screaming sounding off inside my head. When I was finally able to form words, I responded rather idiotically with "Are you serious?". Which of course earned me a duh look from my mom.
My next response was "Hell yeah!" followed quickly in a more serious tone "what do I have to pay for?" And she said, and this was just music to my ears, "Practically nothing. Your father and I will pay for your plane ticket, hotel, and meals." Talk about your dream come true
My next step was to call Barbara. I knew she'd be willing to scream with me. lol!! It's hard when you meet someone that could practically be your mental twin and then have that person live clear across the freakin' nation!! Only with my luck it would seem.
I'm going to try my best to check up on Blogger and email while I'm in New York. That is if my dad is feeling generous with his laptop. Nancy Madore winner WILL be announced on Friday, but other than that, the posting and commenting will be at a minimum.

And I hope you check this in time....as a native New Yorker I have a tip for the museum of natural history...the ticket price in just a suggestion...you can give a donation and gain admition to the basic museum exhibits...Even a dollar and your in!! If your want to see special exhibits or show thats extra.
